To help maintain and update our service, we charge clients an annual licence fee that allows them to deliver StartHere to their stakeholders. Our current clients comprise a variety of organsiations from the public, private and voluntary sectors. Read more about our clients here.

By charging a licence fee, we are working to ensure that StartHere is always free to use for the end user.

There are two types of licences available:

  • A multi-user licence based on the population served
  • A per terminal licence for stand alone units (e.g. kiosk, PC). 

All licence fees include six-monthly updates and annual usage data. Licences are available to provide StartHere on a range of digital platforms including:

  • Touchscreen kiosks
  • Internet
  • Mobile phones
  • Digital TV
