What we do

At StartHere we care passionately about issues around social and digital inclusion, believing that everyone should be easily able to access the right services to meet their needs.
This is why we have developed a simple-to-use, highly accessible signposting service that enables people to navigate through the vast array of information out there, pointing them in the direction of relevant services and organisations that can help.
StartHere works with local authorities, primary care trusts, and other public and voluntary sector organisations to improve access to information and services, especially for socially disadvantaged and digitally excluded groups.

Over the years we have also worked with partners to develop bespoke services, using StartHere’s award winning Content Management System (CMS) (click here to read the Computer Weekly article from December 2006). The flexibility of our in-house CMS allows us to adapt our service to a range of bespoke applications.
