Background

Fortunately, there are thousands of organisations and services in the UK that provide free, local and specialist help and advice. Ranging from national charities and government bodies to local trusts and voluntary sector groups, they provide support on hundreds of health and social care issues.

Yet finding the most relevant source of help can often be confusing, frustrating and time consuming. Every year millions of people face this dilemma and, as a result, and despite the wealth of support available, don’t get the help they need.
